Makita is expanding its line of cordless outdoor power equipment with the 40V max XGT Brushless 21" Self-Propelled Commercial Lawn Mower. This efficient, gas-free solution eliminates emissions, oil mixing, and pull starts, reducing maintenance and operating costs while minimizing downtime.

Powered by a Makita-built brushless motor delivering up to 2,800 RPM, the mower features a commercial-grade steel deck and a versatile 3-in-1 design for mulching, bagging, or rear discharge. Its rear-wheel-drive self-propelled technology enhances traction and performance on inclines and uneven terrain. Large 9" wheels with steel ball bearings ensure a smoother drive, improved maneuverability, and increased durability.

With two 40V XGT 4.0Ah batteries, the mower can cut up to 3/5 of an acre in 54 minutes or less. It operates on a single 40V XGT battery but has the capacity to hold two, utilizing an Auto-Switching two-bay battery system for extended runtime.

Convenience features include a rubberized soft-grip handlebar for added comfort, a folding handle for compact upright storage, and a single-lever height adjustment ranging from 1-1/4" to 4". The mower also comes equipped with a rear discharge cover and an included mulching plug. Quiet Mode can be engaged to reduce noise through constant speed control, while self-propelled cruise control technology offers variable speeds from 1 MPH to 3 MPH.
